While cosmetic marketing often celebrates plant extracts as rich sources of flavonoids and other bioactive compounds, the reality is more complex. Most extracts contain only trace amounts of the molecules credited for their effects, diluted within a broad matrix of non-relevant, and often unidentified, constituents. Our approach focuses on the core activity of each formula, favouring carefully standardised extracts to deliver high-purity concentrations of biologically meaningful compounds. This ensures not only functional integrity, but also consistency and traceability across formulations.

Rethinking molecule delivery.

The potential of many powerful antioxidants remains untapped due to their structural instability and limited ability to penetrate the skin. When these molecules remain on the surface, even the most promising compounds show minimal biological activity. Our approach addresses this by using biomimetic liposomes engineered to carry unusually high concentrations of actives. Produced through a controlled method that ensures consistent vesicle structure and full characterization of key parameters, our delivery system enables deeper absorption and reliable performance—batch after batch.

Description

Originally developed to support skin undergoing intensive retinoid use, this emulsion is designed to reinforce barrier integrity and modulate the skin’s response to irritation mediators. Through a bioadaptive approach grounded in lipid structure and compatibility, it helps restore barrier homeostasis and improve skin tolerance in sensitised or reactive conditions.
